Now let's take a look at the ability. It translates as, "Once during each players turn, that player may put 2 [M] Energy from their discard pile into the hand." Now in many cases this will only be in metal type decks, but that is one thing that I would like to point out. This card does not only apply to metal type deck, but to colorless decks as well. Decks such as Silvally-GX and Drampa-GX which both cards need 3 colorless energy to attack. Both decks I could see playing this card and having a more suitable place in the meta after this cards release. Though looking at other cards that will be released along side this card we see Dusk Mane Necrozma-GX and now possibly the new Solgaleo-GX that was resealed in Japan and may be released in this set or in the spring as a promotional card.
A card that was overlooked in the release of Crimson Invasion was one called Gyarados-GX. With it's massive attack cost and seemily puny damage output. Many worth while competitor turned to the greater cards that came out of the set such as Buzzwole. Now as I look back at the set and ponder deck ideas for upcoming formats and well meta breaking decks, I have turned my eyes to a outliner, Gyarados-GX. Video Posted On my Youtube Channel!!
